I sent out the evite and made the event in Facebook. I clicked on just about everyone we know and now comes the OH MY GOSH what did I just do reaction. Well, here's hoping to a fun time and praying that people actually show up. Am I the only one who ever thinks that about their own parties?
I used to have a widget that told me when someone commented but now I have to comment on my own blog and then click the email me follow up comments thingy...any words?
ReplyDeleteROFL. I haven't thrown a party in ages, but I remember thinking that when I did.
ReplyDeleteAnd no words.
I always think that and then I say: Tanya will show up. I guess that won't be happening this year up here.
ReplyDeleteYour party will be great. Wish I could be there! Have fun!
brought to you by the word: ingshi
We all have that feeling about parties! It is normal! We are planning on being there
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking that this morning about Duncan's party. "gee, what if everyone calls and says they can't make it..." But they did :) And people will come to yours too :)
ReplyDeleteI don't seem to worry about people showing up for a party I throw. The way I look at it is, I am throwing a party because I want to and anyone that would like to enjoy themselves at MY party, then I would love to see them show! "MY" parties are all the same... open door, eat drink and be merry. That way, if it only ends up being Jody and I, I still have a good time cause it's a PARTY!! lol And if people don't show, I'm never offended... they have a life too and if it just so happens they rather do what they are doing as opposed to joining me in what I'm doing, thats their loss. I usually have some good food and drinks available when I do label it a party but who knows... maybe they don't like my cooking? or my husband? or the smell of my entrance? Who cares... I only care if they show up cause then it's that much more fun. No offense to my husband but we all know... he likes any reason to buy booze. Holy man I ramble.
